Help With Cardboard Applicator Tampons?

Cardboard can be uncomfortable. It hurt because you didn't have enough lubrication at the entrance site. If you have lube....(which you might not considering your age) put some at the entrance. Put one foot on tub and keep the other on the ground. Put your fingers on the top of pushing part of the tampon. Insert tampon until your fingers touch your outside. That's when you can push the bottom part of tampon and it should go fully in.
